Katja approached the Pigenta project very strategically, precisely, and professionally. In a short time, she established the landing page structure, SEO and marketing framework, and laid the foundations for the further B2B sales process.
In addition to improving lead quality, achieving good landing page conversion, and noticeably better search engine rankings, she also implemented key tools such as Brevo, Google Tag Manager, and the foundations for conversion funnels. This infrastructure now enables us to measure, optimize, and further grow sales.
I would definitely recommend working with Katja!

Working with Katja at Mehler Systems has been a great experience. She’s been deeply involved in Meta campaigns, landing pages, SEO optimisation, email flows, and e-commerce activities – and her work has clearly improved traffic quality, conversions, and campaign ROI.
She digs into data, tests new ideas fast and comes prepared with suggestions. Whether we were launching new products or running larger content and sales campaigns, Katja added structure, ideas and follow-through.
On top of that, she’s simply a really good human and fun to be around – easy to talk to and someone you’re happy to have on the team, both professionally and personally.

We found Katja at exactly the right moment. We had just finished a collaboration with a marketing agency and were looking for a better match for our business. We run a very seasonal outdoor adventure and accommodation business, with specific timing, booking patterns, and operational challenges, and we needed someone who truly understood that.
What stood out immediately was her insider knowledge of our industry and our guests. This kind of understanding is critical in adventure tourism. It’s not just about running ads, but about knowing how people plan trips, when they book, what makes them feel confident to commit, and how seasonality affects every decision. Katja understands the outdoor community, the mindset of active travelers, and the realities of running a business like ours, and that shows in both her strategy and communication. Having worked with agencies before, we can say that this level of industry insight makes a real difference and is something that’s hard to replace. Working with Katja feels like having someone on your team who genuinely cares about the details. She is attentive, proactive, and consistently suggests improvements across our website, Google Ads, Meta campaigns, and guest communication. She thinks about how everything connects, from first contact to booking and on-site experience.
Because of her results-driven approach, deep understanding of our business, and reliable communication, Katja is a marketing partner we fully trust when we need to get the word out and fill spots for our trips.

If you’re looking for the real-deal, Katja is it! In my 20-years experience of organising MTB tours and multi-day events on several continents; it is rare I meet someone with such a true passion for sports and breadth of genuine sports-tourism experience. The kind of value-add that can’t be learned in a classroom. Running a small team & intense, ambitious projects, I look for crew that bring energy, enthusiasm and expertise to my team…Katja has all of these qualities as well as a huge smile and endless positivity, when the pressure is on: Highly recommended!

Katja and I actually go a long way back. I wasn’t aware until recently that we work in the same industry. While working together on a case to solve a mess with tracking and measurement, I got to know her better and realized she is one of the most talented people I’d hire any given day without hesitating. She is very methodical, self-disciplined, knowledgeable, and great to work with. What I also appreciate a lot is that she doesn’t just do tasks; she simplifies the whole process, making it more effective to reach the desired outcomes and goals.
Considering that she runs her own agency, I believe she is a perfect fit for you.

On collaborating with Katja Rogelj.
In mid-2024, I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Katja while we developed story content for UF PRO. That experience stands out for several reasons: Katja’s clarity of vision, her quiet tenacity and push during the execution phase, and the effortless way she bridges the worlds of a “sporting” lifestyle and performance marketing.
From our first joint blog (I believe on garment selection in jungle operations) to the follow-up piece entitled “How torn field pants and the Suriname jungle humbled a Marine” (published by UF PRO) UF PRO | Tactical Gear for Professionals, Katja brought to the table not just ideas, but grounded instincts about what the gear-and-field audience really cares about. In the first article she shaped the frame and draft, which I then edited and refined. In the second, she seeded the concept and engaged the illustrator to produce supporting imagery; but gave me full trust to deliver the story.
What I appreciated most was her collaboration style. She doesn’t just ask, “Can you help me write this?” but rather, “Here’s the mission I’m aiming for. Let’s build it together.” She brought creative input, logistical follow-through, and a willingness to listen and adapt. At no point did I feel I was fighting misalignment: the aesthetic, tone, and outcome were clear and mutually owned.
Beyond craft, Katja’s character adds flavour to the working relationship. She has the esprit of a guide – someone used to setting off into unknown terrain and returning with insights. I’ll never forget our informal exchange in Slovenia after one shoot: she and the team may have “ambushed me on the nights out”, as I joked, but that kind of camaraderie is one of the things that makes creative work not only effective, but enjoyable.
If you are looking to partner with someone who understands adventure-brands, who can shape narratives that speak credibly to practitioners and enthusiasts alike, and who brings delivery-level integrity without rigid ego, then working with Katja is a very safe bet.
I wish her every success as she launches her own agency focused on performance-marketing for the outdoor/adventure sector. I’m confident any brand that engages her will find not just a capable strategist, but a genuine collaborator.

Katja basically stepped into our brand manager shoes overnight. We worked closely together while she took care of our digital marketing projects, product and content campaigns. From concept, content creation, execution to final deployment on all our channels.
She handled two of our most important product launches of the year and managed the production of all videos (product promos, in-depth overviews, in-action videos) and photos (product and action shots). She also made our most complex user manual to date and wrote most of the content for our new website. You get the picture, a lot on her plate, and all delivered.
We worked together with our German and international teams until, unfortunately for us, another brand stole her away. Katja is efficient, delivers, and truly understands the product, the user, and the brand. We loved having her on the team.

I’ve known Katja for almost 20 years through sports, so I already knew she was dedicated, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented in her work. Still, it was only when we actually started working together that I truly realized the high level of service she delivers.
Shortly after launching the campaigns, I received a huge amount of positive feedback and praise—especially for the advertising approach, creativity, and overall professionalism. Katja has a great ability to combine strategy, aesthetics, and performance, while making sure the communication aligns perfectly with the brand’s identity.
What I appreciated most was her personal approach. She knows how to listen, understands the client’s needs, and genuinely invests her energy into every project. The results were visible quickly, and the collaboration was smooth and completely stress-free.
I would highly recommend Katja to anyone looking for a marketing partner who delivers at a high level, is reliable, and brings a strong sense of professionalism to everything she does.

We work with Katja on our website and ads on Meta and Google, and the experience has been excellent. Katja is an excellent problem solver: she perfectly anticipates the next steps and possible bottlenecks, adapts processes to current needs or focus, while maintaining a clear strategic vision. As a sparring partner, she asks the right questions, brings clarity to the project, and helps us achieve thoughtful, measurable results faster.

Working with Katja was a true game-changer for our business. But to tell you the truth, we didn’t like any of her ideas at first. Or marketing.
We started with email marketing and lead generation, something we were honestly very skeptical about. We expected maybe a handful of contacts… instead, we collected over 1,100 leads in the first month and more than 3,600 in the first year, and the list continues to grow.
At the time, we received loads of inquiries through our website, but only 10-20% were willing to pay for our services. The rest were just looking for free info.
Katja helped us understand why our existing website wasn’t converting and guided us through creating a new website, a true sales machine. We then repurposed our old site into a high-value content hub, which serves as a roadmap for independent travelers using our free content, while channeling customers who want to buy our services and signature hiking and cycling trips in Slovenia to the new website. Today we’re converting close to 80% of all inquiries coming through our website!
And then came the trip builder app. Before, creating a custom itinerary took almost a full week of manually assembling PDFs with maps, navigation, accommodation and transfer details, and endless corrections. With the trip builder app she pushed us to implement, the same job takes less than 1 day.
That’s 4 extra trips per week of time saved! Every single time. We just drag & drop pre-built blocks, make quick edits, and the customer instantly has a live digital itinerary in their hands. No paper, no PDFs, no delivery drama or version chaos. And the best part is that if a guest needs a last-minute reroute, a weather change alternative, or a new contact, we update one block in the app and they see it immediately on their phone. Even while hiking or cycling in the mountains.
We’re happy we made every single one of those decisions, even though we love to tease her about it.

Katja worked as a canyon guide for Adventure Group for the summer season of 2014/15. Because of her outstanding experience and abilities, Katja was signed of to lead all trips for the company in a very short time. Throughout her time with us, she displayed all the attributes of a great outdoor guide – managing other staff, as well as leading clients on some of our most difficult canyons.
She was an expert in managing the many logistics associated with a canyoning experience – such as transport requirements, guides, equipment, clients wellbeing and enjoyment. On top of this, she also showed outstanding abilities on the rare occasion when an emergency response was required.
Her outgoing personality was a hit with clients, and as a real team player, she was a popular member within our large group of staff. We can recommend Katja as an extremely competent outdoors guide and manager, and wish her the very best with her future endeavours.
